Is this a legal requirement in Victoria?
Yes. Under the Residential Tenancies Act and 2021 Rental Regulations, landlords must ensure smoke alarms are tested annually and electrical/gas systems are inspected every 2 years. Failure to comply can result in fines and loss of insurance coverage.
Do I need a separate subscription for each property?

Who carries out the gas safety check?
Gas safety checks are performed by our licensed gasfitting partners. All work is carried out by or under the supervision of a licensed technician.
